Who we are

This website is run by Tarquin Leadbetter, a sole trader trading as Leadbetter & Co., whose business address is Higher Trevibban Farm, St Ervan, Wadebridge, Cornwall PL27 7SH (“Leadbetter & Co.”, “we”, “us”). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

If you have any questions about this policy or your data, please email tarquin@leadbetterandco.com.

What data we collect

When you send an enquiry through our contact form or by email, we collect your name, email address, company name, the service you are interested in and anything you choose to tell us in your message.

If you become a client, we will also hold the details needed to provide our services and invoice you, such as billing information and notes from our sessions.

If you book and pay for a call online, our booking and payment providers will collect the details needed to schedule the call and take payment. We do not see or store your full card details.

How we use your data and our legal basis

We do not sell your data, use it for automated decision making or add you to a marketing list without your permission.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf and only on our instructions:

Some of these providers are based in, or store data in, the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK, it is protected by approved safeguards such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together. We keep client records for the length of our engagement and then for six years, as required for tax and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation. To make a request, email us at the address above. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. This website does not use any cookies, analytics or tracking technology, so we do not ask for your consent.

Our fonts and images are hosted on this website, so visiting it does not send your data to third parties such as Google.

If we add cookies in the future, for example to measure visitor numbers, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, including if the business moves into a limited company. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
